What Is Spirituality?

What is spirituality?
Is there any difference between being religious & being spiritual?
How can you become spiritual?

Well, so many questions and already so many theories on internet.
Don't believe all of them.
Don't even trust me until what I say becomes your own experience.

Being religious is nothing but believing in someone else's experience & their understanding of what they have experienced.

So, To have a belief in someone else's experience is being religious & to have your own experience is being spiritual.

Mahavir, buddha, christ or any other god figure you already know, had experienced something which was so wonderful & amazing and not known to others and shared it with the people around them so they can also experience it. Instead of people trying to experience it on their own, they started believing in their experiences and started praying them for their well being.

If you just accept and believe in what they have said is TRUE, then you are religious.
& if you want to experience what christ, buddha or mahavir had experienced, by following spiritual methods/practices, then you are spiritual.

I hope the difference between being religious & being spiritual is little bit clear to you.

Now, What is spirituality?
well, Spirituality in its very true sense is search for TRUTH. Our true self. Truth of our existence, who we actually are? Why we are here on this planet EARTH? what is the purpose of our life?
So many questions, you might have already been through them at some point of time in your life.

To find the truth you have to go deeper & deeper into your existence until you find your TRUE SELF.

To get the answers to all these questions, you have to search for the TRUTH yourself. No one can make you experience the TRUTH than you yourself.

Yes, spiritual masters and people who are on spiritual path can guide you and help you with the methods to find the TRUTH, but you will have to put your own efforts to reach there.

Because, what i have experienced, can only be in my experience. However much i tell you about my experience, it can never be in your experience unless you experience it yourself.
